On June 29, 2022, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published a final rule (Federal Register) to correct an editorial or technical error that appeared in the most recent annual revision of the Code of Federal Regulations. The correction was made to the OSHA standard on lead in construction, (29 CFR 1926.62(d)(4)(ii). The N.C. Commissioner of Labor adopted this rule with an effective date of September 1, 2022.
