What We Do

NCDOL Inspectors conduct periodic inspections on aerial tramways and incline railways (funiculars) operating in the state of North Carolina

Equipment owners are required to schedule annual inspections no later than October 31 of each year via the online system.  This requirement is needed to better serve our industry customers.  Owners should make provisions to have permanent power on and equipment operational for inspection.

Request an Inspection

The Elevator and Amusement Device Bureau conducts regular, periodic inspections of this equipment.
