CFR 134C - Asbestos

On August 10, 1994 (59 FR 40964), OSHA promulgated asbestos standards for general industry, construction and shipyard work. On June 29, 1995 (60 FR 33974) and September 29, 1995 (60 FR 50411), OSHA issued corrections and clarifications to various provisions of those standards. On August 23, 1996 (Federal Register) OSHA issued further corrections and several clarifications to certain provisions of the standard. The August 23, 1996 corrections and clarifications at 29 CFR 1910.1001, 1915.1001 and 1926.1101 were adopted verbatim in North Carolina by the Commissioner of Labor with an effective date of February 11, 1997.
