Occupational Safety and Health Consultation Program

Welcome to North Carolina’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) On-site Consultation Program. The Consultation Program provides small businesses exceptional and confidential services identifying and eliminating worksite hazards and is not affiliated with compliance enforcement. These services are designed to improve workplace safety and health programs and reduce injuries and illnesses, which may save thousands of dollars from potential workplace accidents, increased workers’ compensation costs or fines from enforcement. All consultation services are completely free of charge.

OSH Safety and Health Consultants do not issue citations or penalties. The visits are confidential and focus on assisting businesses with identifying and eliminating safety and health hazards. Consultants are workplace safety and health professionals who will help clients address and comply with OSHA standards that are applicable  in the workplace.
