PDF • 222.51 KB - December 05, 2022

On August 31, 2020, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published a final rule (Federal Register) that amends the existing shipyard and construction standards for occupational exposure to beryllium and beryllium compounds to clarify certain provisions and simplify or improve compliance. The revisions in this final rule do not affect the general industry beryllium standard.

The N.C. Commissioner of Labor adopted this rule with an effective date of February 1, 2021.
