CFR 116B - Occupational Exposure to Cadmium; Final Rules - Corrections
On January 3, 1994, Federal OSHA promulgated a correction to the amendatory language of the final rule that incorporated applicable General Industry standards (29 CFR 1910.1027) for toxic substances into the Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Shipyard Employment (Federal Register). In addition, OSHA redesignated the cadmium standard for construction employment into a different subpart (1926.1127). The redesignation merges it in with the newly created subpart that contains specific toxic substance standards for construction. These amendments to 29 CFR 1915 and 1926 are adopted verbatim in North Carolina by Commissioner of Labor with an effective date of April 15, 1994.
