CFR 188 - Walking-Working Surfaces, Personal Protective Equipment, and Special Industries; Corrections
On December 17, 2019, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published a final rule that makes corrections to six general industry standards. This final rule (Federal Register) makes minor corrections in six general industry standards (29 CFR 1910.23 - Ladders, 29 CFR 1910.25 - Stairways, 29 CFR 1910.27 - Scaffolds and rope descent systems, 29 CFR 1910.29 - Fall protection systems and falling object protection - criteria and practices, 29 CFR 1910.140 - Personal fall protection systems, and 29 CFR 1910.269 - Electric power generation, transmission, and distribution, final rule). The N.C. Commissioner of Labor adopted this rule with an effective date of April 10, 2020.
