SN 56 - Heavy and Light Duty Pneumatic Staplers

This OSH Standards Notice discusses the requirements and standards applicable to the use of light-duty and heavy-duty pneumatic staplers. It references the following standards: 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii) and 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iv)(h) - Machine guarding, general requirements for all machines; and 29 CFR 1910.243(a)(2)(ii) and 29 CFR 1910.243(b) - Guarding of portable powered tools.
