Memo (COVID-19) - Updated Interim Enforcement Response Plan for Coronavirus Disease

On July 7, 2021, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued an Updated Interim Enforcement Response Plan for Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) memorandum, which provides new instructions and guidance for handling COVID-19-related complaints, referrals, and severe illness reports in workplaces. Per this memo, NCDOL adopts the memorandum with some modifications.

Note: In North Carolina, the ETS was repealed in its entirety on March 4, 2022. This memo includes guidance on citing OSHA standards related to COVID-19 cases including the recordkeeping standards (Part 1904).
