The purpose of this chapter is to provide instruction and guidance to Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Division personnel in planning and implementing compliance operations. The primary consideration for compliance operations is the attainment of maximum effective inspection coverage. The guidelines in this chapter is used for scheduling inspections to address this consideration. It covers program planning, inspection/investigative types, inspection scope (comprehensive, partial), inspection selection criteria, inspection priorities, and scheduling.
