CFR 170 - Mechanical Power Transmission Apparatus

On June 8, 2004, federal OSHA issued this final rule to correct errors in four standards (Federal Register). This correction deletes two references to a nonexistent table in the Mechanical Power – Transmission Apparatus Standard in both 29 CFR Part 1910.219 and 29 CFR Part 1926.307. The text “(see Table O-12)” is removed from paragraph (e)(1)(i). The text “as noted in Table O-12” is removed from paragraph (o)(5)(ii). [The paragraphs are identical in both Parts 1910 and 1926.] The N.C. Commissioner of Labor adopted the revised federal standards verbatim with an effective date of September 17, 2004.
