CFR 112A - Safety Standards for Stairways and Ladders Used in the Construction Industry; Final Rule
On August 23, 1991, OSHA amended the final rule on the Safety Standards for Stairways and Ladders (Subpart X) Used in the Construction Industry (e Federal Register). The changes clarify some inadvertent errors in the requirements for stairrails and handrails and in the requirements for spacing ladder rungs. The amendment of the final rule on the Safety Standards for Stairways and Ladders Used in the Construction Industry has been adopted verbatim in North Carolina by the Commissioner of Labor with an effective date of February 1, 1992.
