On September 20, 1990, OSHA amended the final rule (Federal Register) on the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout - 29 CFR 1910.147). The action corrects typographical errors, includes some information inadvertently omitted, and corrects some inconsistencies in the preamble and regulatory text. The amendment of the final rule for the Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout) has been adopted verbatim in North Carolina by the Commissioner of Labor with an effective date of March 1, 1991.
