2022 Construction Forum

"Safety From the Ground Up"

Date: May 18,2022

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Location: Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility, 8500 Battle Bridge Rd, Raleigh, NC 27610  Note: This event will also be offered virtually. Details forthcoming.

Growth in North Carolina continues unabated and, as such, so does large commercial construction projects across the state. Capitalizing on the commercial construction boom, this year’s Construction Safety Forum focuses on “Safety From the Ground Up.

So, while large construction projects rising may seem ordinary, the planning and preparations prior to breaking ground, pouring cement, or erecting steel can be extraordinary.  The N.C. Construction Safety Forum Agenda focuses on these processes, continuous safety management and raises safety awareness of the following:

  • Coordinating City Infrastructure before Construction Begins
  • Primary Demolition
  • Site Management
  • Plumbing, Heating & Cooling
  • Heavy Lift Operations
  • New opportunities with Virtual Training
