On April 3, 2012, federal OSHA issued this final rule (Federal Register) to move the rule’s paragraph (1910.1030) on sharps injury log requirements from paragraph (i), entitled “Dates,” to paragraph (h), entitled “Recordkeeping.” The N.C. Commissioner of Labor adopted the final rule with an effective date of June 11, 2012.
