Labor One Mobile Training Unit

Labor One Mobile Training Unit

The Labor One Mobile Training Unit, a white truck with NCDOL contact information on it, is parked on concrete.

Labor One is a mobile classroom that brings safety and health training straight to the work site. The 35-foot training unit will travel to any work site in the state and provide free, hands-on training on a variety of safety and health topics. The classroom has a maximum capacity of 20 people.

Request Labor One

Businesses can request a visit from Labor One by filling out the online registration form. A 30-day notice is preferred, but arrangements may be made closer to the requested training date depending on scheduling.

Training classes require a minimum of 10 participants. Multiple businesses—such as subcontractors on a construction site—may combine their employees to meet the minimum requirements. Most sessions require one hour per subject, however, training sessions may be modified if necessary.
