Kevin Beauregard Kevin Beauregard is director of the Occupational Safety and Health Division of the N.C. Department of Labor. Beauregard oversees six bureaus that work to improve workplace safety through a combination of compliance, consultation, education, training and statistical analysis. Beauregard initially joined the OSH Division in 1991 as a safety compliance officer. For the next 16 years he served as the OSH asst. deputy commissioner before being appointed to his current role in 2016. Beauregard has a diverse background in occupational safety and health, and is the immediate past chair of the Occupational Safety and Health State Plan Association (OSHSPA). His 30 years of state service includes time with the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health program and the Maryland State Accident Fund. Kevin has additional work experience in the construction and manufacturing industries. Kevin is originally from Maryland and is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology. Kevin is a certified public manager and a certified safety professional.
